Acclaimed for his grounded and heartfelt performances, Aspen is a leading man to watch. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Aspen has always been driven by faith. In 2017, he earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing with a minor in Communications from Jackson State University.

After needing to register in an additional course credit during his sophomore year at JSU, his path took an unexpected turn when a complete stranger approached him and recommended that he enroll in a course called Fundamentals of Acting. What seem to be a random encounter became a pivotal moment, leading Aspen towards his true calling. On the heels of graduation he booked his first television show, Queen Sugar, and has been working professionally in film and television ever since.
